The in game model of the Pelican. This was one of the first assets I created using a face weighted normals based workflow, along with lots of decals for surface detail. There was quite the learning curve as it's a very different workflow to the traditional hi-res - low-res one.
It was definitely a beast of a vehicle to finish due to the complexity of both the exterior and fitting the interior in well. On top of that I really wanted to honor the previous incarnations of the Pelican and get it as close as I could. It's one of the most iconic Halo vehicles and I really wanted to do it justice.
